Ingredients

For the slaw:

  • 1/2 green cabbage, thinly sliced(about 4 cups)
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup (vegan) mayo
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

For the sliders:

  • 2 packages Daring Buffalo Pieces
  • 1 12-pack slider buns
  • 6 slices (vegan) sharp cheddar cheese
  • Pickle chips
  • Melted (vegan) butter or olive oil
  • Sesame seeds

Buffalo Sauce:

  • 1 cup Frank’s RedHot
  • 1/4 cup salted (vegan) butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Dash of smoked paprika
  • Dash of garlic powder

Step 1

Make the slaw: In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, red onion, carrot, and cilantro. In a separate small bowl, mix the mayo, lemon juice, Dijon, celery seed, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss to coat. Add an extra tablespoon or two of mayo if you prefer it creamier. Set aside in the fridge.

Step 2

Cook the Daring: Cook the Daring Buffalo Wings according to the package instructions. While they’re cooking, whisk together the buffalo sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Once cooked, shred the Daring using two forks and toss with half of the buffalo sauce (save the rest for serving).

Step 3

Assemble the sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the slider loaf in half horizontally and remove the top. Lay down the cheese slices, followed by the buffalo Daring mixture. Replace the top buns, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Step 4

Bake: Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.

Step 5

Finish assembly: Remove from the oven, gently lift the top buns, and add a layer of slaw and pickle chips. Replace the tops. Slice for easier serving, or leave as pull-apart sliders. Serve with the remaining buffalo sauce on the side.
