Ingredients

  • 1 package Daring Breaded Plant Chicken Wings
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 4 Tbsp vegan butter, melted
  • 3 medium garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried Italian seasoning or oregano
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 12 slices vegan mozzarella cheese 
  • 1 cup thick marinara sauce 
  • 2 Tbsp grated vegan Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh Italian parsley for garnishing (optional)

Step 1

Cook the Daring Breaded Wings:
  • Air Fry (recommended for extra crispiness): Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Place the frozen Breaded Wings in a single layer (avoid overlapping; cook in batches if needed). Air fry for 11-13 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  • Oven Bake: Preheat oven to 450°F (or 400-425°F depending on your oven for even cooking). Place frozen Breaded Wings on a parchment-lined or lightly sprayed baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. (For slightly lower temp like 400°F, extend to 12-15 minutes if needed.)

Step 2

Assemble the Sliders:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 12×8 inch baking dish with cooking spray (or use a parchment-lined sheet pan for easier cleanup).
  • Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the prepared dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted vegan butter, minced garlic (or granulated), onion powder, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Brush the bottom rolls generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Now layer slices of vegan mozzarella cheese.
  • Spread ½ cup of the marinara sauce evenly over the cheese.
  • Arrange the cooked Breaded Wings on top.
  • Drizzle with the remaining ½ cup marinara sauce.
  • Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp of the grated vegan Parmesan.
  • Top with the remaining 6 slices of vegan mozzarella cheese.
  • Place the bun tops on top.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining garlic butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle with the reserved 1 Tbsp vegan Parmesan.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake another 3-5 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden, the cheese is fully melted and gooey, and everything is heated through.
  • Use a sharp knife to separate the sliders along the perforations.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve warm with extra warmed marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
