Jerk Plant Chicken Wrap

This is what happens when heat lovers unite 🤝🔥. ⁠​ ​And by “this”, we mean Daring’s fiery Cajun Plant Chicken Pieces & Jrk!’s Jerk + Bonnet Sauces, all wrapped up into one delicious vessel.

  • 1 8oz pouch Daring Cajun Pieces
  • ½ cup Jrk! Jerk Sauce, to marinate
  • 1.5-2 tbsp of oil, to sauté


  • 3 large flour or whole wheat tortilla wraps
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage (storebought works well)
  • 1 mango, diced
  • ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • Jrk! Jerk Sauce, to taste
  • Spicy Jerk Mayo
  • 1/3 cup Veganaise (or other vegan mayo)
  • 1 TBSP Jrk! Bonnet Hot Sauce (more to taste)

Step 1

Open the pouch of frozen Daring Cajun Pieces (keeping resealable closure intact) and add ½ cup Jrk! Jerk Sauce directly into the bag. Reseal the bag and shake to coat. Place the pouch in the refrigerator overnight (or for at least 30 minutes).

Step 2

Preheat a non-stick pan on medium-high heat for 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium, then add 1.5-2 tbsp of oil.

Step 3

Sear marinated Daring pieces for about 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 4

Prepare wrap ingredients: Drain and rinse the canned black beans, then chop red onion and mango.

Step 5

Prepare Spicy Jerk Mayo: In a small bowl, mix vegan mayo and Jrk! Bonnet Hot Sauce together until well-combined. Set aside.

Step 6

Assemble wraps: Warm up wraps, then add the seared Daring, cabbage, and mango. Top with additional Spicy Jerk Mayo (and/or some Jrk! Bonnet Hot Sauce if you’re feeling feisty).

Step 7

Wrap it all up and enjoy!
