Daring Plant-Based Chicken Club Sandwich

  • 1 8oz package of Daring Original Plant Chicken Pieces
  • 4 slices of Hooray Foods plant-based bacon, cooked
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 4-6 ea bibb lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of vegan cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of bread
  • TT salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil


  • 1 ½ Tbsp Harissa
  • 1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper

Step 1

Heat a frying pan on medium-high heat. Drizzle with 1.5-2 tbsp cooking oil and sear the Daring Original Plant Chicken Pieces for 2-4 minutes per side. They are done when they have a nice golden-brown color on them. Set aside.  

Step 2

While the chicken is cooking, prepare the harissa mayo. Combine the harissa, vegan mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and set aside. 

Step 3

Cook the Hooray Foods bacon according to the package instructions. Set aside. 

Step 4

Place the slices of bread on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of harissa mayo on each top piece. 

Step 5

On each sandwich, layer lettuce leaf, vegan cheese, a few slices of avocado, and a few slices of tomato. 

Step 6

Add a handful of plant chicken pieces on top of the veggies on each sandwich. 

Step 7

Finally, add one slice of cooked Hooray Foods bacon to each sandwich. 

Step 8

Serve immediately or wrap for a picnic or on-the-go lunch.
