Four The Love of Sauce

The epic return of The Voice is just around the corner, which means you’ll need something that hits all the right notes at your premiere watch party. Luckily, we’ve got you covered with these Daring Dippers, starring crispy Daring Original Breaded Pieces and four distinct, flavor-packed sauces—one for each judge! Ingredients

  • 2 8oz pouches of Daring Original Breaded Pieces, frozen

CHIPOTLE BBQ:

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup diced yellow onion
  • ¾ cup store-bought barbecue sauce
  • 1 chipotle pepper (from canned chipotles in adobo sauce)

“HONEY” MUSTARD:

  • ½ cup vegan mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

STICKY SESAME:

  • ¼ cup tahini or nut butter
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • ½ Juice of lime

HERBED RANCH:

  • ½ cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp non-dairy milk
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped dill
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, grated

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Add the Daring Original Breaded Pieces to a sheet pan in one even layer and bake until crispy and cooked through—about 15 minutes. Flip the Daring Pieces halfway through to ensure even cooking. Allow the Daring to cool slightly while you prepare the sauces.

Step 2

To prepare the Chipotle BBQ sauce, place a small saucepan over medium heat and add olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the onion and sauté until translucent and just beginning to brown at the edges, 4-5 minutes. Add the sautéed onion, barbecue sauce, and chipotle pepper to a food processor and combine until completely smooth.

Step 3

To prepare the “Honey” Mustard sauce, whisk together the vegan mayonnaise, dijon mustard, maple syrup and kosher salt in a medium bowl until completely combined.

Step 4

To prepare the Sticky Sesame sauce, whisk together the tahini (or nut butter), maple syrup, soy sauce, grated ginger, toasted sesame oil, and lime juice until completely smooth.

Step 5

To prepare the Herbed Ranch, add the vegan mayonnaise, non-dairy milk, parsley, dill, lemon juice, onion powder, salt, pepper, and grated garlic to the bowl of a food processor. Process until completely smooth and flecked with bits of green from the herbs.

Step 6

To serve, add the hot Daring Original Breaded Pieces to a platter alongside the four dipping sauces. Serve immediately with tons of napkins.
