Daring Plant Chicken is made from a short list of simple ingredients, with soy as our protein base. It’s free of cholesterol and a great source of fiber and protein. We assure you that our Daring Plant Chicken only contains the good stuff – no artificial flavors, GMOs, or palm oil.
Absolutely! Daring Plant Chicken is 100% vegan. Our Frozen Entrees are made with our vegan plant chicken pieces and a short list of simple ingredients. Some of our bowls are entirely vegan – made with only vegan ingredients in addition to our vegan plant chicken. Some of our bowls are vegetarian – made with dairy cheese in addition to our vegan plant chicken and a short list of high quality ingredients.
Yes, all Daring Plant Chicken pieces and wings are gluten-free. However, some of our Frozen entrees, which always use our gluten-free Plant Chicken pieces or wings, contain some ingredients that contain gluten. Please check the packaging to see if you are purchasing a gluten-free frozen entrée or a gluten-containing frozen entrée. Packaging will be clearly labeled with a gluten-free call out when it is gluten-free.
Yes! All Daring Plant Chicken pieces and wings are certified as Kosher by the International Kosher Council (IKC) and Halal by the American Halal Foundation (AHF).
Our Vegan and Vegetarian Frozen Entrée Bowls are Halal certified by the American Halal Foundation (AHF). Our Vegan Frozen Entrée Bowls are Kosher certified by the International Kosher Council (IKC). Our Vegetarian Bowls are not certified Kosher at this time.
The natural flavors used in Daring pieces are what give the pieces their delicious chicken-y taste. Our natural flavors are formulated from 100% plant-based extracts, essences, and components found in nature to deliver the well-rounded flavor profiles that Daring products are known for.

Daring Plant Chicken pieces and wings are plant-based, nut-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free. However, all Daring Plant Chicken pieces and wings contain soy.
In addition to our pieces and wings, we make vegan and vegetarian frozen entrée bowls which contain those pieces / wings. The bowls are clearly labeled to specify if they are vegan or vegetarian.
Daring Plant Chicken pieces have a frozen shelf life of 13 months and a refrigerated shelf life of 14 days for our unbreaded plant chicken products and 10 days for our breaded and buffalo Plant Chicken wings. Our Daring Frozen Entrees have a frozen shelf life of 12 months.

If you know how to cook chicken, you can cook Daring! Our Plant Chicken Pieces & Wings cook in as little as 5-6 minutes using a variety of surfaces and cooking methods. For more details, check out our How to Cook page.
To cook our frozen entrees, please cut a slit into the plastic film, microwave for 2 mins and 30 seconds, carefully remove the plastic film and stir the dish thoroughly. Microwave for an additional 1 minute. Let cool for 1 minute and then enjoy!
