If you can cook chicken, you can cook daring. Yep, you read that right. daring looks, cooks and tastes like chicken. In other words—you’ve got this. And should you need help, here are a few tips to get you going.
Use a non-stick pan, with a small touch of oil (2 tbsp) to thinly coat the base of the pan.
Cook on a medium heat from frozen for 10-12 minutes turning occasionally until slightly golden and crisp.
Heat deep fryer oil to 180° C / 356° F.
We suggest coating the frozen pieces in breadcrumbs or batter to make the perfect daring goujons or wings!
Gently place the pieces into the oil and cook for 90 seconds or until golden and crisp.
Remove from the hot oil and rest for 1 minute on paper towel before serving.
Preheat the wok to a medium-high heat before adding a small dash of oil and the frozen pieces.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, tossing regularly to ensure an even browning. Add your stir fry vegetables along the way.
To defrost, simply place daring pieces in the refrigerator for 2 hours before you intend to cook them up. They must be cooked within 24 hours of being placed in the refrigerator. We do not recommend thawing by immersing them in water. Do not thaw and refreeze.
daring pieces are perishable and should be kept frozen or refrigerated. Frozen shelf life is 12 months. Refrigerated shelf life is 24 hours. For maximum freshness, we recommend storing open packages in airtight containers to reduce exposure to oxygen.
